Bai Lu and Wang Xing Yue’s new drama to premiere soon?
In no surprise to me, or to anyone else who has been following the news about the long-awaited Chinese mystery series, thriller Unveil: Jadewind has now grabbed more than 4 million pre-orders, and is adding tens of thousands more per day.
Especially as, if rumors in China are correct, the YOUKU drama is likely to be premiering some time in the next couple of weeks at the latest. (Update: Yep. It’s dropping on February 5th).
YOUKU announced the C-drama’s premiere date this morning with the message:
With red walls as the canvas and candlelight as the brush, they wield their swords to uphold justice. Their eyes have witnessed countless schemes, and with a flick of their sleeves, they calmly conquer all obstacles.
They also reminded potential viewers you can still pre-order the series right up until when it drops.
Along with the 4 million reservations announcement, we also got two new cool posters of leads Bai Lu and Wang Xing Yue‘s celebrating that milestone.
Unveil: Jadewind wrapped its filming in early September, 2025 so, if the C-drama does premiere in the next couple of weeks, its team have done an incredible job in pre-production to get it ready for release so quickly.
Especially when you look at the trailer (below), as it makes the drama look utterly spectacular and epic.
