Undercover Miss Hong Ep 2 earns BIG ratings jump – in Top 10 on Netflix in 25 countries

tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong, Episode 2 aired on Sunday, January 18th, 2025 to a big ratings jump versus the audience share for its first episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, Undercover Miss Hong, Episode 2 grabbed 5.67 percent of the nationwide viewership last night, which is more than a 2.0 percent increase versus Episode 1’s rating of 3.51 percent on Saturday.
The Korean drama also saw an even higher ratings increase of 2.50 percent from viewers in Seoul as it jumped from Saturday’s 3.17 percent to Sunday’s 5.69 percent of the audience share.
Both ratings put the Korean workplace comedy in first place in its time slot.
International ratings for Undercover Miss Hong
As you would expect if you follow international ratings, the ratings on various drama-focused sites are currently on the lower side.
That is usually due to trolls who enjoy wasting their time downrating new Asian dramas when they first release, only for us to see those same dramas bounce back up when the trolls have moved on to attempt to destroy another show.
That is why many Asian drama fans warn about believing ratings on any site until at least five or six episodes have premiered.
As for Undercover Miss Hong, it is currently receiving a low 7.7 out of 10 from 332 users of one Asian drama ratings site, while just 49 IMDB viewers are also currently rating it a low-ish 7.9 out of 10.
A more reputable rating for the new K-drama will arrive tomorrow when Netflix releases their Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart, and we see if Undercover Miss Hong has made it onto the list.
Looking at the current Netflix Top 10, however, Undercover Miss Hong, which only premiered on Saturday, is already in the Top 10 in 25 countries including Mexico, Paraguay and Saudi Arabia, with its highest placing as the #4 most-watched show on Netflix in both Peru and Vietnam.
Let’s see how it is performing when the Netflix chart officially drops tomorrow.
Undercover Miss Hong stars Park Shin Hye, Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung, and Cho Han Gyeol.
The Korean drama airs every Saturday and Sunday evening at 21:10 (KST), with Netflix streaming the series internationally.
Episode 3 will air/stream on Saturday, January 31st.
