Three women’s lives collide in Wild Bloom
And don’t get this one mixed up with the 2022 Chinese drama of the same name starring Zhao Li Ying and Ou Hao.
This one is an all female-led drama, with iQIYI describing its plot like this:
The drama revolves around three women, Chen Luo Xia, Wang Min, and Wu Ying, whose fates are intertwined.
Chen Luo Xia suffers from a terminal illness and embarks on a path of revenge to find her missing friend Wang Jing; Wang Min uses any means to maintain a perfect life and hides a sinful secret; policewoman Wu Ying is determined to pursue the murderer and struggles between love and law.
The three collide and become entangled with each other, and in the midst of crime and redemption, the resilience and brilliance of humanity shine through.
So yep, if you are looking for a true female-lead drama with strong female characters, Ye Gods, this one looks like it might check all the boxes.
Although, of course, it will be a while before we’re able to find out. Enjoy the pics.
