The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, Ep 12 ends K-drama on HIGHEST ratings – cute cast photos drop

I am so incredibly happy to see The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, Episode 12 earn the Korean workplace comedy drama its best ever ratings, as it ended the series on a huge high on Sunday night.
A series, by the way, that has truly been one of the biggest nice surprises of 2025.
That nationwide rating for The Dream Life of Mr. Kim, Episode 12 was 7.56 percent, which is a big increase from Episode 11’s already solid audience share of 5.59 percent.
The slice-of-life drama performed even better in Seoul, where it grabbed 8.1 percent for its final episode — up from its previous episode’s 5.69 percent.
Congratulations to the utterly superb cast (especially Ryu Seung Ryong as Kim Nak Su — aka Mr. Kim), director Jo Hyun Tak (The Atypical Family), screenwriter Yun Hye Seong, and the rest of the crew.
International ratings for The Dream Life of Mr. Kim after Episode 12
Honestly, don’t even look at most international ratings on the major sites because, as always, the usual trolls are downrating the JTBC series to 2-brain-cell lows.
(I am also stopping referencing said sites going forward, as why promote ratings sites that are so incredibly unreliable with what they offer, eh?)
All you need to know is that, if you enjoy an extremely well-written, superbly acted slice-of-life drama about a man who gets up every morning and goes to a job where people destroy his self-esteem, just so that he can appear to be living a righteous life, The Dream Life of Mr. Kim hits all the feels.
Especially as, while you sometimes think Mr. Kim will never learn his lesson and, so, will go on making the same frustrating mistakes again and again, just so he can appear ‘acceptable’ to both society and his family, that ultimately ends up not being true at all.
In other words, give the K-drama a try as you may be surprised to discover The Dream Life of Mr. Kim is that touching little gem you will think of again and again long after its final minutes play.
That superb cast that made The Dream Life of Mr. Kim such a captivating watch, by the way, is Ryu Seung Ryong, Myung Se Bin, and Cha Kang Yoon as the leads, with Yoo Seong Mok, Lee Shin Ki, Lee Seo Hwan, Jung Soon Won, Ha Seo Yoon and many others in the K-drama’s excellent supporting cast.
All 12 episodes are now streaming internationally on Netflix, as cast photos from the K-drama’s closing ceremony also dropped today. (above and below)
