Shin’s Project Ep 3 earns HIGHEST ratings so far – international audiences loving it

The new Han Suk Kyu-led drama Shin’s Project is going gangbusters this week, as Episode 3 grabbed its highest ratings on Monday night.
According to Nielsen Korea, Shin’s Project, Episode 3 grabbed 8.00 percent of the audience share, which is substantially higher than the 7.40 percent it earned for Episode 2, and much higher than the K-drama’s initial rating of 5.92 percent for Episode 1.
Shin’s Project, Episode 3 also performed similarly in Seoul where it grabbed 7.99 percent of the viewership — up from the 7.78 percent it garnered for Episode 2.
With Episode 4 airing later on today, and last week’s Tuesday episode earning markedly higher ratings than its Monday episode, chances are we will also see a new all-time high rating tonight.
International ratings for Shin’s Project
Sadly, Shin’s Project is not available legally in most western countries, so most people watching it are doing so via a bootleg site, or using a VPN to view the K-drama on Wavve.
That’s why the number of people on My Drama List (MDL) that are saying they are currently watching the show is low (3,386) and why the rating on the site (7.6 out of 10) is stupidly low due to the trolls that control most of the initial ratings of any drama on MDL.
Especially as the comments on the site are overwhelmingly positive, ranging from one made after Episode 3 aired:
Good pacing and storytelling, best of current airing shows.
to one commenting on having to watch Shin’s Project on a bootleg site, and still enjoying it immensely.
Enjoying every episode even with auto English subtitles. š Nice cast, sad backstory, always loved the negotiation area, charismatic ML, and so on.
On IMDB, however, the ratings are more accurate, with that site currently showing an 8.5 out of 10, although just from 19 people so far.
Either way, its obvious most people who are not trolls are loving the K-drama, and so you can expect the ratings to rise on both sites as more people who are actually watching Shin’s Project begin to rate it.
