Kim Shin Rok in Queen of Tears this weekend in cameo role – one of two things to look forward to

A cameo by actress Kim Shin Rok’s in the hit K-drama Queen of Tears has been officially announced.
Just Entertainment, the actress’ agency, released a statement today confirming her appearance in the tvN weekend drama this weekend.
The agency then advised viewers to watch the broadcast for more information on her role.
In other words, they’re giving you nothing else as that way you will be sure to watch Queen of Tears tomorrow night, right?
Kim Shin Rok’s prior roles
While we will probably only see the 43-year-old actress on Queen of Tears for a few minutes as, yep, she is only making a cameo appearance, I must say her showing up in it makes me want to watch the upcoming Episode 11 of the smash-hit drama even more.
Kim Shin Rok was superb in last year’s The Kidnapping Day, she was also wonderful in Shadow Detective, Season 2, and was fabulous in a supporting role in Moving.
She even managed to stand out in Sweet Home Season 3 (and is reportedly cast for Season 3 as well).
One of her recent standout performances, though, was as Jin Hwa Young, daughter of the Soonyang Group founder Jin Yang Cheol (played by Lee Sung Min) in the 2022 Korean drama Reborn Rich.
She proved in one scene in particular — as Jin Hwa Young begs her father for help after she has made bad investments and lost millions — what skills an actress of her caliber has that easily elevate her among many others.
Yeah, color me looking forward to Kim Shin Rok in Queen of Tears. How about you?
The next episode of Queen of Tears (Episode 11) will air tomorrow night (Saturday) on tvN in South Korea at 21:20 (KST), with Netflix streaming it internationally.
Two things to look forward to with Queen of Tears, Ep 11
And that’s now two things to look forward to about it.
First, the wonderful Kim Shin Rok.
Second, can the next episode of the smash-hit drama surpass its enormous ratings for Episode 10? Ratings that made it the 5th highest-rated cable TV drama of all-time on any network (peak rating).
Now that would be cool too, if it can.
