
The upcoming fantasy romance anime The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife got its first key visual today, along with the naming of two more cast members and a premiere date of January 8th.
The very cute key visual features protagonists invisible man, Akira Tounome, and his blind eventual wife Shizuka Yakou, as well as co-workers Daichi Kikira and Luna Jarashi.

Along with the visual, which came out this morning via Pony Canyon’s X account, the Japanese animation studio also named cast members Tomohiro Ono (Nobuyuki Kumano in Oshi no Ko) as voicing Karma, and Kaori Ishihara (Hitomi in Iroduku: The World in Colors), who is playing Light.

The fantasy romance anime is based on the manga The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife, which is written and illustrated by Iwatobineko.
Mitsuho Seta (episode director for A Girl & Her Guard Dog), who is also in charge of the series composition for the upcoming anime, is in his directorial debut.
Kairi Unabara (Witch Hat Atelier) is designing the characters, while Project No.9 (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) is in charge of animation.
As for the plot of The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife anime, which is based on the manga , it goes like this:
The gentle human woman, Yakou, works at a detective agency. Her boss is the smart and kind “transparent man,” Mr. Tounome.
Though his ability is perfect for detective work, even when he turns invisible, Yokou who is blind –uncannily knows exactly where he is. Meanwhile, drawn to her “unseen” charm, Mr. Tounome eagerly escorts her every day…!?
Surrounded by a contrarian human man, a big-sister-type beastwoman, and unique colleagues, let’s experience a blushing office work romance!!
