15 beautiful new wallpapers are out for the ongoing Chinese donghua Eclipse of Illusion (aka Yun Shen Buzhi Meng).
The latest Eclipse of Illusion wallpapers show off the gorgeous character models the series is becoming known for, with Yun Wangshu, Zhiyang Huaming, Lu Qizhao and Yan Qingfei all featured in them.
They also came with a comment from streaming platform YOUKU, who praises the girls’ talents along with a reminder new episodes of the donghua drop weekly:

The Chinese donghua is produced by YOUKU and is being animated by Yien Animation Studio (Stellar Transformation).
While the Eclipse of Illusion animation is not as smooth as currently ongoing series like The Demon Hunter or Tales of Herding Gods, at least when it comes to the character models’ animation, which can be a little puppet-like at times, its action and fight scenes are beautifully done.
The donghua’s music is also nicely used, and its stunning sound design adds huge depth to each scene — especially during the battles.
The well-paced Eclipse of Illusion plot is also a welcome change as, while most donghua fans are familiar with stories about revenge, this one has more depth, and with better-developed characters who have more believable motivations for their actions than many.
Its standout, however, are the donghua’s cinematic visuals, backed by luscious set designs and some of the prettiest character models in currently ongoing donghua.
Especially when it comes to the many lovely women in the series.

Eclipse of Illusion is streaming internationally via YOUKU, and on YOUKU’s YouTube channel.
Episodes 1 and 2 are available for non-subscribers on YOUKU, while VIP subscribers can watch Episodes 1 through 7.
Episode 8 of the 26-episode series releases on the platform on Saturday.
