Yu Cheng En turns 27 years old – gets Happy Birthday visual of his Blade of Vengeance character from Tencent

Chinese actor Yu Cheng En turns 27-years-old today (September 21st, 2025) and, in honor of his birthday, Tencent Video has released a birthday still of the actor as his character Guo Ying in the upcoming wuxia drama Blade of Vengeance.
Along with the visual of Yu Cheng En looking somber but very cool in a wide-brimmed hat, Tencent also wished him a happy birthday:

As for the upcoming C-drama, while Blade of Vengeance does look incredibly fun and stars Gong Jun, one of the most popular Chinese actors on the planet right now, it will be 2026 at the earliest before we get to see Yu Cheng En in his role.
That’s because the drama itself only just kicked off its filming this week.
Until then, you can watch him in recent roles like Yan Li in Coroner’s Diary, Su Yan Cheng in City of Romance, or Lou Yao in Love Like the Galaxy (which you can currently watch on WeTV for free).
He also has a main role coming up in the mystery thriller Treasure at Dawn.
