Plot Synopsis
Young Fu Sheng (played by Li Hong Yi) is naive and inexperienced, obsessed with medicine. His unconventional medical practices make him both loved and feared by the townspeople. A sudden case of “the deaths of a hundred doctors”, however, not only causes him the loss of his father but also stigmatizes him as the murderer of his father.
In his desperate situation, he is rescued by Princess Wen Jue (Su Xiao Tong) of Xichuan, who comes seeking medical help, and the chivalrous knight Gu Tian (Yu Cheng En).
To repay her kindness, Fu Sheng agrees to accompany Wen Jue to Xichuan to treat her father. While sorting through his father’s belongings, Fu Sheng unexpectedly discovers a secret: a treasure crucial to the stability of the nation—the Heavenly Book Treasure—is hidden in the world.
The tragic deaths of the hundred doctors were caused by it. What chills him even more is that the treasure’s location points directly to Xichuan; and the key to unlocking everything lies in his own hands.
To uncover the truth and protect the peace of the people, Fu Sheng, Wen Jue, and Gu Tian embark on a perilous journey to find the “Heavenly Book.”
The mysteries are intricately linked, and strange events unfold one after another. The three navigate this journey fraught with passion and intrigue, proceeding cautiously at every step. However, Fu Sheng is unaware that his every move is stirring up unseen waves in Xichuan City.
