tvN’s romantic comedy Spring Fever, Episode 12 ended the K-drama’s 12-episode run on February 10th with its highest viewership ratings yet, cementing the drama’s success as one of the standout romance series of the season.
The series finale delivered the strongest performance of its entire broadcast on Tuesday night, not only in the ratings but also with its satisfying conclusion for fans.
Finale ratings climb to series peak
According to Nielsen Korea’s consolidated metrics, Episode 12 averaged 5.7% nationwide, a new personal best for Spring Fever, with a peak of 6.9% during its most watched moments.
Metro area figures echoed the upward trend, with a 5.6% average and 6.8% peak in the Seoul region. These numbers outpaced earlier episodes and brought the drama to its most watched level as it signed off permanently.
The finale’s strong ratings continued the upward trajectory the series enjoyed in its final weeks.
Episode 11 had already posted a new high for the K-drama on Monday night, with that momentum building steadily into the conclusion, which is a testament to how deeply the characters and story connected with audiences.

A happy ending that resonated
In the final moments of the story, leads Seon Jae Gyu (played by Ahn Bo Hyun) and Yoon Bom (Lee Joo Bin) confront their personal struggles and the challenges of their pasts.
Yoon Bom, who had been burdened by a scandal linked to her famous mother, chooses to face the truth openly. A major turning point that underscored the show’s themes of growth, honesty, and resilience, and left us with a very satisfying ending.
Meanwhile, Jae Gyu stands by her side, offering steadfast support as the pair decide to commit to a shared future.
This resolution, blending emotional honesty with romantic fulfillment, gave fans the “happy ending” many had hoped for. And helped fuel both chatter and positive reactions online.
So much so, a majority of commenters on social media praised the series ending, and the K-drama itself for remaining true to its tone and character arcs right through to the finale.

Spring Fever‘s run

The show also made waves on streaming platforms and social media, with cumulative views surpassing 500 million across platforms as the finale approached. A good sign of its broader digital popularity beyond linear TV ratings.
