The upcoming Chinese medical-themed drama Rolling World (aka 医生荣誉) began filming on August 7th in Qingdao and, this week, has released a slew of character visuals.
The C-drama itself is expected to premiere some time in 2026 via YOUKU.
The Rolling World character visuals dropped on YOUKU’s Weibo account yesterday, with a long message that confirms the Chinese drama’s director, screenwriter and main cast:

Unlike many C-dramas, that are usually based on a popular web novel, the 30-episode Rolling World is actually adapted from a hit documentary titled ‘Only Doctors Know‘.
Its plot, via Baidu Baike by the way, looks like this:
The story revolves around several resident doctors—Luo Yingwei, Huang Fei, and Zhou Tian—who enter the obstetrics and gynecology department of a hospital.
Under the strict guidance of their experienced mentors, Xiao Feng, Che Na, Yang Zhen Jun, Qian Wei Yi, and Han Ren Jie, they confront the challenges of medical practice and the weight of life.
While overcoming numerous obstacles and honing their professional skills, they come to deeply understand the true meaning of medical compassion and the honor of their profession, forming profound bonds of camaraderie along the way.
