Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter’s Tina Howard visual – the adorable girl succeeds in her studies

Ahead of the fantasy series Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter dropping in July, the anime has a new visual out today via its official X account.
This time, it’s Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter’s daughter herself — Tina Howard. The adorable girl who, while she might be incredibly intelligent academically, doesn’t seem to be able to harness her magic abilities to cast even one spell.
In the latest visual, we see Tina looking up from studying and cutely saying to her beloved tutor “Teacher, I did it“.
The anime’s X account also reminded anime fans Tina Howard is voiced by Hime Sawada (Cecilia in Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence). You can hear her in the anime’s trailer down below.
Production details for Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter
The anime adaptation is based on the light novel series written by Riku Nanano and illustrated by cura, and its manga adaptation illustrated by Tamura Mutu.
Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter (公女殿下の家庭教師 or Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi) currently has 19 volumes out in Japanese.
J-Novel Club is releasing it digitally in English, with 15 volumes out and Volume 16 due to be published on June 17th.
The original Japanese release of Volume 1 of the novel series describe its story like this:
In a world where magical ability determines one’s life, Tina Howard, the daughter of a duke, is somehow unable to use even simple magic.
However, the talent hidden within this girl blossoms vividly under the unconventional teachings of her kind, magic-loving tutor…
Nobuyoshi Nagayama (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World) is directing, with Megumi Shimizu (Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers) in charge of series composition, and Akiko Toyoda (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) designing the characters.
Studio Blanc (Vampire Dormitory) is animating the fantasy series.
Along with Hime Sawada voicing Tina, Yuuto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima in Bungou Stray Dogs) plays tutor Allen, Ikumi Hasegawa (Kotoha in Wind Breaker) is Lydia Leinster, and Kyouka Moriya (Michiru in A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof) is Ellie Walker.

Update: A cute character visual for Ellie, Tina’s best friend, has also just been released — although she looks a bit cold as well as one for Lydia, who loves to tease Allen more than anything else.
We also just got a character video for Allen, and a just dropped illustration for Lydia’s sister Lynee.
