New ‘Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!‘ season visual celebrates delicious food
One of this season’s best fantasy anime Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! has released a subject-appropriate ‘seasonal key visual’ today in celebration of Japan’s ‘Good Meat’ day on November 29th.
The cute key visual has protagonists Melphie and Aristide sitting at a dining table with Aristide’s brother Maxim the nation’s crown prince.
As you’d expect, from both the anime and Japan’s love of delicious meat, Melphie is about to chow down on a huge piece of monster meat on the bone, while Aristide and Maxim look on smiling.
Of course, as the three love meat more than anything, everything else plated on the table is a type of meat or chicken as well.
Oddly, however, neither Aristide or Maxim are eating.

Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! one of cutest, feelgood anime of this season
The gourmet-themed fantasy romance anime has turned out to be one of the most chill and most feelgood series of the Fall, 2025 season.
Melphie, the daughter of Count Marchalrayd, is a delight as she works to find ways to make full-of-poisons monster meat safe and delicious to eat. That way the common people will no longer have to struggle to afford food.
The problem for Melphie, however, is due to her love of the forbidden monster meat she is known as the Voracious Villainess. That means many fellow nobles look down on her, and the possibility of finding a suitable husband is just about nil.
Meanwhile, Aristide the crown prince’s brother, otherwise known as the Blood-Mad Duke as he kills so many monsters, believes he will never get married as women are generally afraid of him.
That is until he meets Melphie, falls head over heels in love, and then they both realize, with one killing monsters and the other cooking tasty dishes with them, they really are a match made in heaven.
Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! is directed by Mutsumi Takeda (B-Project: Passion*Love Call), with Keiichiro Oochi (The Too Perfect Saint) in charge of series composition, and Masato Kato (Peach Boy Riverside) designing the characters.
Asahi Production (Gushing Over Magical Girls) is animating.
