The series finale of the KBS2 drama Our Golden Days (Episode 50) earned its highest ever rating last night, causing the Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun and Yoon Hyun Min-led drama to go out with a very nice bang.
According to Nielsen Korea, Our Golden Days, Episode 50 earned a nationwide rating of 20.5 percent versus the already very high 18.4 percent it earned for its penultimate episode on Saturday.
The Korean drama’s rating in Seoul was almost as high, with a 19.2 percent versus the previous night’s 17.5 percent of that region’s audience share.
Of course, that also made it the most-watched show on any TV channel — cable or public — on both Saturday and Sunday. Yay!
Our Golden Days was written by So Hyun Kyung (My Golden Life), and stars the aforementioned Jung Il Woo, Jung In sun and Yoon Hyun Min.
It also features a stellar supporting cast that includes Lee Tae Ran, Cheon Ho Jin, Kim Hee Jung, Park Sung Geun, Go Won Hee, Kim Joon Ho and Kim Jung Young.
All 50 episodes are now streaming via Viki in some regions of the world (not in the U.S.) where it is garnering a viewer rating of 9.0 out of 10.
