The Case Book of Arne trailer introduces a girl who gets way over-excited when it comes to the vampires she loves
There are so many amazing looking anime series dropping in early January, I am getting the feeling I may just be holed up for the better part of a week watching them all.
One of them, the mystery adventure series The Case Book of Arne released a main trailer today that introduces us to Lynn Reinweiß – the nobleman’s daughter who loves vampires so much she becomes a little bit over-excited when anywhere near one. (Yep, she’s a bit SCREAMY!!!) Even if it’s just a character in a film she’s watching.
But things are about to become even more interesting for Lynn as, after wandering into the strange city of Lügenberg one day, she meets Arne, a vampire who is known as being the “worst” in the city.
Arne, however, is a vampire detective and he needs some help in solving a murder case, which is why the pair soon find themselves buddying up and setting off to try to solve a bloody horrible mystery.
Yep, Lynn’s dream of being close to vampires has suddenly come true.
Lynn is voiced by Yuka Nukui (Kiyoko in Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days), while Arne is played by Kouki Uchiyama (Gen Narumi in Kaiju No. 8).
And no, while I’m not usually a fan of ultra-screamy anime girls, The Case Book of Arne does look fun, so I’ll give Lynn a fair shake when the anime releases on January 6th.
You never know, do you? She may calm down.
