Ms. Incognito, Episode 11 sets K-drama up for banger of a series finale tonight
With the ENA drama Ms. Incognito heading towards its finale tonight, it’s nice to see Episode 11 of the Korean drama grabbing the show’s best ever ratings last night.
Especially as that will probably mean the K-drama is now set up for earning an even higher audience share later on tonight.
Ms. Incognito, Episode 11 aired on Monday night in South Korea, grabbing 6.26 percent of the nationwide viewership.
That is a big increase of 1.1 percent versus its previous episode’s audience share of 5.11 percent, and heading towards three times the rating the Korean romance thriller earned when it premiered (2.40 percent).
The K-drama saw an even bigger ratings increase, though, in Seoul where it garnered 6.19 percent compared to the much lower 4.62 percent rating of Episode 10.

International ratings differ markedly depending on the site
Interestingly, however, the ratings from international websites covering Asian drama vary markedly depending on the site you read.
On My Drama List, for instance, viewers are complaining about how Ms. Incognito started out so promisingly, but then saw a huge dive in writing quality after Episode 3.
So much so, the Korean drama started out on a solid 8.0 out of 10 on My Drama List, and has now dropped to a 7.7 out of 10. With recent comments on that site, it is likely it will stay there, or fall even further.
They range from one person commenting about their own rating choice:
I gave it a 9 after the first two episodes, but now after watching episode 11, it’s down to a 7.5… I can’t even describe how disappointed I am.
to another explaining how they are still able to force themselves to watch:
I watch this drama as a “Carnival of Absurdities”. The title (Ms. Incognito) is supposed to be absurd nonsense. Everything (the villager, the step-daughter, the goons, even Yeong-ran’s incompetent bodyguard persona) is absurd. That’s the only way I can watch and be entertained.
I will say, however, I have noticed with ratings on My Drama List, if a few people leave negative comments, it seems to motivate others to pile on the negativity, and then the ratings begin to drop.
Disappointingly, that kind of crowd mentality does make the site’s ratings not particularly trustworthy. That goes for both low or very high ratings.
Meanwhile, over on IMDB, the drama is performing much better, with viewers currently rating it an 8.4 out of 10, which is a very good rating from IMDB users.
And, on Viki, where Ms. Incognito is streaming, more than 2,600 viewers are awarding the K-drama a very high 9.3 out of 10.
The final episode of Ms. Incognito, which stars Jeon Yeo Been, Jinyoung, Jang Yoon Ju, Joo Hyun Young and Seo Hyun Woo, airs on ENA in South Korea, and will stream on Viki internationally.
If you ignore the MDL ratings, my guess is the Korean drama will end on high ratings both in South Korea and internationally.
Update: Beyond thrilled to see Ms. Incognito go out on all-time high ratings and become ENA’s second highest rated series of all time
