PLOT
The mortal girl Bai Shuo (played by Bai Lu) has been searching for immortality and seeking the path of enlightenment since childhood. After accidentally meeting the demon king of the Extreme Domain, Fan Yue (played by Ao Rui Peng), the two embark on a journey together to awaken the ancient divine artifact, the Mindless Stone.
In order to gather the five essences of “love, hatred, killing, greed, and kindness,” they undergo various trials in Ning’an City, the City of Oddities, Silent Mountain, Stone City, and Bodhi Village.
Fighting evil spirits and vanquishing malevolent demons side by side, their relationship evolves from mutual use to budding affection, ultimately becoming a two-way devotion.
