Plot Synopsis
A bank bombing shatters the tranquility of Hua’ao City. Police officer Ding Qi (Bai Jing Ting) stands calmly at the horrific scene. He knows this isn’t the “final ending,” but rather a “cycle day,” where the world randomly enters five consecutive cycles, rewinding to the previous day at midnight.
Ordinary people are oblivious, but he, with his ability to sense time loops, repeatedly solves bizarre cases. Each new cycle begins, revealing increasingly strange occurrences: multiple executives of a biotechnology group die in succession, accompanied by a mysterious squid-like warning of death, and unexpected events unfold frequently.
Beneath the seemingly mechanical repetition of daily life, a conspiracy gradually emerges. Ding Qi also discovers that he is not the only one who controls the “time key.”
As multiple time loop perceivers manipulate spacetime, the final showdown on the fifth cycle day will unveil all the mysteries for the audience.
