This one may just be the cutest anime of 2022
The upcoming Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost anime got a new trailer today and, Ye Gods, is this thing one of the cutest shows I have ever seen.
Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost (aka Shachiku-san wa Youjo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai) is based on the Shounen Gangan comedy manga by Imari Arita.
The manga tells the story of a ‘company slave’, office worker Ms. Fushihara, who is working very late one night when a little ghost girl shows up and tells her it’s time to go home, as she is worried about her health.
The latest Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost trailer shows not only how utterly precious the ghost — Yuurei-chan — is, but it also looks like she then brings her equally adorable friend to meet Ms. Fushihara as well. Awwwwwwww.

Kaori Ishihara and Maya Uchida performing theme songs
Along with the trailer, the OP and ED for the anime have also been announced.
The OP is ‘Cherish‘, and is being performed by Kaori Ishihara who plays Lily in the anime, with the ED titled ‘Kikoeru?‘ sung by Maya Uchida.
Uchida, of course, also plays the role of Kurahashi-san in the anime.
Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost is directed by Kū Nabara, with scripts by Deko Akao (screenwriter of After the Rain), and character design by Haruka Tanaka (Chief Animation Director for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind).
Project No.9 (Higehiro, and Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki) is in charge of animation production.
The very cute looking workplace-themed supernatural comedy anime is due to premiere in April this year.
