Love Your Enemy, Ep 2 has huge increase in ratings – looks like this K-drama could be a big success

The tvN drama Love Your Enemy, Episode 2 aired last night to a huge increase in ratings.
Ratings that were almost double what the Korean romantic comedy garnered for its first episode, when it kicked off as the lowest-rated tvN drama in the Saturday-Sunday time slot for all of 2024.
Am I surprised? No.
The first episode was so entertaining, touching and fun, I am not surprised word-of-mouth persuaded others to watch it. And that the people who watched it came back in similar numbers.
That Love Your Enemy, Episode 2 rating nationwide was 6.45 percent, versus its first episode’s 3.48 percent on Saturday night — which also put it in 1st place in its time slot.
A very nice increase from one episode to the next, right?
Love Your Enemy‘s ratings in Seoul
In Seoul, Love Your Enemy, Episode 2 grabbed an even higher percentage of that region’s audience, jumping from Episode 1’s rating of 4.00 percent to a much higher viewership of 7.11 percent for its second.
With those kinds of numbers, chances are we may see the tvN drama continue to grab higher and higher ratings as its 12-episode season continues.
And yes, I am predicting that too.
Meanwhile, the Korean drama is also streaming on Netflix as of last weekend. That platform will be releasing their latest viewership data later on today.
When it does, my guess is Love Your Enemy may have already hit that platform’s Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart as well.
Love Your Enemy stars Ju Ji Hoon, Jung Yu Mi, Kim Ye Won and Lee Si Woo, but also has a superb supporting cast that includes Kim Jung Young, Kim Gab Soo, Jeon Hye Jin, Lee Byung Joon, Baek Hyun Joo and Kim Hyun Mok.
The Korean drama’s next episode will air/stream on Saturday, November 30th and, I don’t know about you, but I am dying to see where its ratings end up then.
