Love on the Turquoise Land hits 26,000 on Tencent heat index – fastest Cdrama to do so this year

Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xing Xu’s new supernatural thriller Love on the Turquoise Land premiered its first episodes yesterday, and has already exceeded 26,000 on the Tencent Video heat index in China.
With 28,000 meaning a Chinese drama is very popular, and 30,000 proving it is a smash-hit, is it only me who thinks Love on the Turquoise Land will be grabbing 30,000 pretty soon?
Especially as, for fans of Dilraba or Chen Xing Xu, Love on the Turquoise Land may just hit all the spots as both are playing badass characters with major personality.
The C-drama’s fight scenes too are reported to be spectacular.
Tencent Video released a celebratory poster for the drama’s 26,000 heat grab, with a comment saying “The forest battle has begun, don’t miss the high-energy confrontation!”
Now personally, I watched Episode 1 of Love on the Turquoise Land and, while the cinematography is nice, the plot is nothing new and, as not a particular fan of either Dilraba or Chen Xing Xu (don’t think about either of them one way or the other), this one is not for me.
I still do, however, expect it to easily hit 30,000 as it is the 2025 C-drama to pass 25,000 the fastest this year, and fans of the two actors seem to be obsessing over it so far.
