Plot Synopsis

In the Great Qi Dynasty, the young emperor Xiao Huan ( played by Ren Jia Lun ) takes back power from the powerful minister Ling Xuefeng (played by Gao Shu Guang) and Empress Dowager Liu (played by Zhao Ke) , and goes south under the alias Bai Chifan to get close to Ling Xuefeng’s daughter Ling Cangcang (played by Peng Xiao Ran ).

Ling Cangcang is the leader of the Jianghu organization Fenglai Pavilion. She is chivalrous and courageous. The two develop feelings for each other while investigating the Lingbi Sect’s crimes, but a fatal misunderstanding arises due to the death of Ling Cangcang’s master.

The two eventually became emperor and empress, but due to the past, their love and hate are intertwined.

However, Ling Cangcang does not give up on pursuing the truth. In the process, she and Xiao Huan break up several times, but they also go through life and death together many times.

Until they gradually uncover the cruel truth hidden behind the mystery.
