After debuting at #2 on last week’s Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart, Korean drama Cashero climbed to the #1 spot this week.
The Lee Jun Ho-led K-drama beat out nine other non-English language series for the top spot with 42.6 million hours watched and 6.1 million views for the period 12/29/25 to 1/4/26.
That’s up from last week’s 26.5 million hours watched and 3.8 million views.
Cashero garnered that huge number of hours and views by being in the Top 10 in 51 countries this week, and at #1 in two countries — Thailand and Malaysia.
It also surpassed the number of views for last week’s #1 series Culinary Class Wars: Season 2, which is also a South Korean show.
In other words, in just the two weeks since it premiered on December 26th on Netflix, the South Korean drama has become a big hit for leads Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hye Joon, Kim Byung Chul, and Kim Hyang Gi and the rest of the cast.
What is Cashero about?
The drama is based on the hit Lee Hoon and No Hye Ok webtoon and tells the story of Kang Sang Woong (played by Lee Jun Ho) whose newly-discovered super strength depends on how much money he has at any given time.
No money = no powers. A large amount of money = very powerful superpowers.
All eight episodes of Cashero (yep, it’s a mini-drama, perfect for those of us with limited time) are now streaming on Netflix.
Head over there and add to its views, eh?
