Jung Hae In and Ha Young star in Netflix drama This Sucky Love – confirmed with script reading photos

Korean actors Jung Hae In and Ha Young have been confirmed as the main leads in the new Netflix K-drama This Sucky Love (also given the ultra-boring title of Lovestuck –– but can we forget that one please).
The confirmation came via the official Netflix Korea X account earlier today with photos of the pair at the K-drama’s script reading.
Along with the photos, Netflix Korea commented:
In front of the capable prosecutor Go Eun Sae, who has amnesia, a boxing coach named Jang Tae Ha, who calls himself her boyfriend, appears, and their exciting cohabitation begins.
Netflix romantic comedy series ‘This Shitty Love’ (that much better title directly translates from the Korean). Jung Hae In and Ha Young confirmed as cast. Exclusively on Netflix.

What is This Sucky Love about?
According to Netflix, This Sucky Love follows the strange living situation of Go Eun Sae (played by Ha Young), a skilled prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department, and Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach.
The cohabitation begins when, after Go Eun Sae is involved in an accident and loses her memory, she wakes up in a rural hospital only to see Jang Tae Ha — a man who insists he is her boyfriend.
Soon the pair are living together, as Tae Ha convinces Eun Sae they have been together forever and are in love.
In reality, Jang Tae Ha is a former boxing champion turned gangster who has left the mafia to become a smalltown boxing coach.
While getting settled in the town, he sees Go Eun Sae get into an accident, and realizes she is the girl who was his first love many years ago.
Faced with the opportunity of persuading her they are already in a relationship, why would he let that chance pass him by?
Production details for This Sucky Love
The Korean rom-com is being directed by Kim Jang Han (My Demon), and is written by Mo Ji Hye (You Raise Me Up). The pair worked together previously when Kim Jang Han also directed You Raise Me Up.
As for the main stars — Jung Hae In, of course, most recently starred in the hit series Love Next Door, while Ha Young is right off the smash-hit Netflix series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.
It will be interesting then to see how good their chemistry together is in This Sucky Love. Looking forward to it.
There is no official release date for This Sucky Love, although we do know it will likely air in 2026 for 12 episodes.
