Ongoing JTBC drama Heavenly Ever After is streaming on Netflix worldwide and, along with five other Korean shows last week basically took over the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Series chart. (For the period 21st to 27th April, 2025).
According to the streaming platform’s latest date, Heavenly Ever After is currently sitting at #5 due to being viewed 2.9 million times in the last week, for a total of 12 million hours watched.
The Korean fantasy romance drama was in the Top 10 in 18 countries, and #1 in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
At #5 on the chart, it is behind fellow Korean drama Weak Hero: Class 2, which hit #1 three days after it premiered.
It is also ahead of Resident Playbook at #6, When Life Gives You Tangerines, which climbed to #1 during its run and is still at #7 over three weeks after its final episode released, Weak Hero: Class 1 at #7 and the historical supernatural K-drama The Haunted Palace at #9.
Heavenly Ever After ratings in South Korea
The Korean drama is also performing incredibly well in Korea, where its latest episode (Episode 4) grabbed its highest ratings yet — both nationwide and in the country’s capital Seoul.
The romance drama features the superb main cast of Kim Hye Ja, Son Suk Ku, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Chun Ho Jin, and Ryu Deok Hwan.

After life’s ups and downs, a loving couple separated by death reunites in heaven — only to discover he has chosen to be in his 30’s while she is still in her 80’s.
Episode 5 of Heavenly Ever After will premiere on Netflix on Saturday, May 3rd.
Update, May 5th, 2025 – Episode 6 of Heavenly Ever After aired on Sunday night in South Korea to its highest audience share of its run so far.
