JTBC drama Good Boy, Episode 8 finished out the series’ first half on Sunday night with new all-time high ratings.
Those ratings, according to Nielsen Korean, were 6.42 percent nationwide — which is slightly up from Saturday night’s rating of 6.36 percent — and 6.48 percent in Seoul — nicely up from the 6.07 percent the K-drama garnered on Saturday.
Good Boy, Episode 8 was also the #1 show in its time slot across all cable networks.
International ratings still solid
Meanwhile, the excellent 8.5 out of 10 rating the drama has been earning on My Drama List hasn’t waivered at all, with international viewers using the site still raving about various members of the Good Boy main cast.

Got to agree on the casting for this one, though. The casting director did a superb job, followed by all the main actors really nailing their roles.
Meanwhile, the stills have also dropped for Episodes 7 and 8 if you love looking at pretty pictures of some incredibly talented actors as much as I do.
Although, in this case, I have to add they seem to have concentrated on Park Bo Gum rather than anyone else. (shrug)
Good Boy heads into its second half next week, with Episode 9 dropping on June 28th.
Let’s hope it continues with superb performances and some truly incredible action scenes, eh?
