Fated Hearts hits 9,158 on iQIYI’s heat index a week after the Chen Zhe Yuan and Li Qin-led drama ends

The recently ended Chinese drama Fated Hearts has now climbed to 9,158 on iQIYI’s heat index today — just shy of the magic 10,000 on the platform’s heat index that production companies of every iQIYI drama are desperate to achieve.
The drama itself ended its 38 episode run on October 16th, with excellent ratings on sites like My Drama List (8.7 out of 10) and IMDB (8.2 out of 10) from international viewers.
A new visual of the main Fated Hearts cast was released to celebrate, with iQIYI also saying about the C-drama’s huge success:

Fated Hearts stars Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan in the main roles, with a superb supporting cast that includes Xia Meng, Chen He Yi, Zuo Ye Hyman, Qin Tian Yu, Xin Kai Li, Zhang Cheng Lang, Sheng Ying Hao, Wang Zi Tong, Tian Guang Yu and Qu Chu Yuan.
The drama itself is a solid “enemies to lovers” slow burn story, that features excellent character development, some absolutely wonderful performances, exceptional chemistry between Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan (it was in all the small glances and really lovely subtle moments), and all wrapped up in gorgeous cinematography and rich coloring.
With so many similar historical romance dramas released this year, I have to say Fated Hearts is most definitely one of the standouts.
No surprise then the Cdrama performed so well on iQIYI’s heat index, is it?
