Plot Synopsis

During the Battle of Pingling, as Yin Xue’an was captured, the red-clad female archer Fu Yixiao (Li Qin) strikes the eldest prince of Yin Miao, Feng Suige (Chen Zhe Yuan) , with an arrow, unexpectedly turning the tide of the battle.

However, Fu Yixiao is ambushed by bandits shortly after the Battle of Pingling and loses her memory. Fu Yixiao eventually finds herself at Zhengnian Manor, where she unexpectedly reunites with her nemesis, Feng Suige .

Seeing Fu Yixiao’s disheveled state, Feng Suige instinctively feels that this was related to his own experience in the Battle of Pingling and wants to use Fu Yixiao to find the truth behind it all. Fu Yixiao, in turn, wants to use Feng Suige to save her own life amidst the relentless pursuit.

Thus, the two, who were mortal enemies just a month ago, now have to rely on each other to find a way to survive in the treacherous city of Yujing. And feelings for each other quietly blossom amidst their brushes with death. The seeds of hatred, betrayal, deception, unfulfilled desires, and inability to let go have already been sown.

The closer people are to each other, the more they become pawns in love. Fu Yixiao and Feng Suige can only hold hands tightly amidst the turmoil, working together to break the dark conspiracy, shatter the shackles of fate, and live up to the expectations of the people and the expectations of each other.
