The ongoing comedy fantasy anime Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I’m a Reincarnator has released a new character video and, if you’ve already watched the first episode, you’ll know immediately why protagonist Ellen is so special.
After all, not only is she cuter than cute, she is also the girl above all others who can wrap her dad around her little finger, and get him to do anything she wants. (See Dad, Rovel’s character video here).
Ellen’s character video features the adorable little girl buttering up both her parents. Although, when you know a little about Ellen’s background, you know she’s not so little at all.
That’s because she is a reincarnated scientist who suddenly died and then found herself reborn in a child’s body, and living in another world.
Nowadays, she might only be a little girl, but Ellen has a command over the elements like you have never seen.

The fantasy reincarnation anime is based on the light novels written by Matsuura and illustrated by keepout.
The series is being directed by Toshinori Fukushima (Duel Masters: LOST), with Touko Machida (With You and the Rain) in charge of series composition, and Mina Osawa (given) designing the characters.
J.C. Staff (Bakuman) is animating the series.
Its plot goes like this:
While devoting herself to research, she was reincarnated as a spirit!? Her father was a former hero who saved a chaotic kingdom of monsters. Her mother was the queen of spirits who controls all things.
Ellen, a spirit girl born into such circumstances, is endowed with the ultimate skill of controlling the elements… But will she be able to protect her family’s happiness?
