Strange Chronicles of Tang poster of Yang Xu Wen and Yang Zhi Gang out as Chinese mystery drama premieres on Thursday

Latest Strange Chronicles of Tang Dynasty poster has Yang Xu Wen and Yang Zhi Gang welcoming fans
The sequel to the just-ended Chinese historical mystery Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty: To Changan just dropped another poster as the drama itself premieres its first episodes on iQIYI on Wednesday, December 17th.
The drama is called Strange Chronicles of Tang, it is a 21-episode series of approximately 20 minutes per episode, so much shorter than a typical Strange Tales episode, and is the technical Season 4 of Strange Tales.
It features two cases our favorite six will be solving, and has been filmed to be a bridge or connection between Season 3 and Season 5, which is apparently already greenlit.
Then again, when Season 2 of the C-drama just won Best Drama at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, it’s not surprising more seasons are in the works, is it?
iQIYI dropped the drama’s latest poster on their socials this morning with a message saying:
A chilling atmosphere is rising, and the myriad phenomena of the universe are about to unfold! đź“Ł We invite you to join the fray!
Look out for the historical mystery releasing on Wednesday, and learn more about its plot and the two cases Lu Ling Feng, Su Wu Ming and friends will be investigating on Baozi Buns.
And, if you’re short of something to watch and enjoy dramas set in that period, there’s an interesting vertical drama set in the same world called Strange Chronicles of Tang: The Chang’an Detective now streaming on the iQIYI app.
Each episode is around 3 minutes, so it’s a fast watch as well.
