Chained Soldier 2 drops Fubuki Azuma character art – Anti-Demon Corps chief is as beautiful as she’s strict

Ninth Division chief Fubuki Azuma gets cute and slightly suggestive character design
Great news for fans of Chained Soldier production of Season 2 is charging ahead (the anime is due to premiere in January 2026), and it’s bringing some fresh visuals and new excitement with it.
Today’s new visual via the Chained Soldier X account is in the form of brand-new character art for Fubuki Azuma, one of the series’ more compelling although emotionally complicated warriors, and it gives us a glimpse of what’s in store.
Fubuki Azuma is the leader of the Anti-Demon Corps’ Ninth Division and, while she might seem like a woman whose emotions are strictly in check when she’s fully uniformed up, especially when it comes to her family, in reality she has a much sweeter side.
Something you can see in the way she blushes cutely in her character art as she looks coyly at the camera.
Interestingly, however, Fubuki’s voice actor has not yet been revealed.
Along with the new character visual, the studio also reminded viewers the events of Chained Soldier 2 kick off from the Boss Meeting in Volume 6 of the manga.
Chained Soldier, Season 2 production details
The upcoming second season of the harem-themed fantasy action anime is, again, based on the hugely popular manga series of the same title written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takamura.
You can grab 12 volumes of that series via Yen Press, with Volume 13 coming out in December (there are currently 19 volumes in Japanese).
Director Masafumi Tamura is taking over from Season 1’s Gorou Kuji, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi back again in charge of series composition and scripts, and Keiya Nakano now in charge of character designing instead of Season 1’s Hiroyuki Yoshi.
The Chained Soldier animation studio has also changed, with both Studio Passione and and Hayabusa Film, who jointly animated the wonderful From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman) in charge of animation, instead of Season 1’s Seven Arcs.
It will be almost two years since the first season of Chained Soldier aired its final episode in March, 2024 by the time its second season releases.
Like Season 1, Chained Soldier 2 will stream on HIDIVE when it premieres in January. Look out for it.
