Low-ish ratings for the first KBS2 Thursday drama of 2026
Cabbage Your Life, the first Thursday drama to air on KBS2 this year, premiered last night to pretty low ratings — just 2.7 percent nationwide and 2.4 percent from viewers in Seoul.
Those ratings meant the Korean drama was the 15th most-watched show of the day nationwide, and the 16th in the metro area of the country.
Not particularly high numbers for the first episode of a K-drama, but definitely ratings that could increase as more episodes of the 12-episode drama drop.
Cabbage Your Life is only airing one episode a week, however, which is something Korean drama fans do not generally like.

Cabbage Your Life production details
The KBS2 drama is directed by Choi Yeon Soo (Pump Up the Healthy Love and Bad Prosecutor), and written by Hwang Hye Ji (Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me).
It stars Park Sung Woong (Dong Jae the Good or the Bastard), Lee Soo Kyung (Dog Knows Everything), Ghost 9’s Lee Jin Woo (Where’s My Hero), Lee Seo Hwan (The Dream Life of Mr. Kim), Choi Gyu Ri (Marry My Husband), and Nam Mi Jung (Knight Flower).
Episode 2 of the comedy drama, which follows the family of city-born Seong Tae Hun (played by Park Sung Woong) as they move from the city to the countryside, will air on April 2nd, with KOCOWA streaming it in North America.
Let’s see how it performs from here then, eh?
