C-drama ‘Fate Finds Us’ ends filming – wrap ceremony photos of Liao Fan, Ni Ni, Zhou You, Vivienne Tien and more drop

The upcoming family-themed Tencent drama Fate Finds Us (人间清醒) has just wrapped up filming today, after a 2-month filming schedule that began on May 20th.
Wrap ceremony photographs have been released of all the main cast.
The filming wrap was announced on Tencent Video’s Weibo with a comment about the plot, and another confirmation of the drama’s full cast:

Fate Finds Us sounds very much like its story looks at a microcosm of society, in a place we all hold dear — home — while also relating that place to the rest of society.
That plot goes like this:
Home, the smallest unit of human society, is at the heart of this story.
The series follows two married couples living in a bustling metropolis: Gu Qun (played by Liao Fan) and Zeng Yao (Ni Ni), as well as Shao Xiaoyi (Zhou You) and Gu Yuan Yuan (Vivienne Tien).
Gu Qun and Gu Yuan Yuan are siblings, and together with their mother He Shu Min and Gu Qun’s son Guo Guo, the family navigates the challenges of urban life. T
hey strive to make a living—only to find life making a mess of them in return.
And now, as the C-drama’s filming has ended, the wait begins for it to get a distribution license and then air.
Thankfully, Fate Finds Us is a contemporary series and not a wuxia drama, which tend to take well over a year to finish post-production. And that can mean its release may well be as early as the first quarter of 2026.
