Autumn visual concentrates on the school’s four demi-humans
A very pretty autumn visual has just dropped for upcoming school-themed supernatural anime A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans.
The cute visual features all four of the demi-humans Rei Hitoma is teaching in the tiny mountain school — (from left to right) mermaid Kyouka, werewolf Isaki, Tobari the bird and Sui the rabbit — as they head off to school surrounded by the beautiful autumn leaves.
The visual was released on the official A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans X account today, with the account commenting about the visual – “Autumn’s arrival on the usual commute path. ”

When does A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans premiere?
The supernatural anime series, which is based on the light novel written by Natsume Kurusu and illustrated by Sai Izumi, is currently scheduled to premiere in January, 2026.
Titled Jingai Kyoushitsu no Ningengirai Kyoushi (or 人外教室の人間嫌い教師) in Japan, the anime is directed by Akira Iwanaga (director of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest), with Katsuhiko Takayama (series composition for Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department) in charge series composition, and Maiko Okada (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) designing the adorable characters.
Studio Asread (The Future Diary) is animating the series.
The first volume of the light novel describes the story in this way:
Rei Hitoma is a 30-something NEET with a traumatic past.
“I thought I’d change jobs to a school in the mountains, surrounded by abundant nature, and live a leisurely life as a rehabilitation teacher, but to my surprise, it turns out to be a girls’ school where non-humans become humans!? I spend my days with such strange students as Kyouka Minazuki, a mermaid; Isaki Oogami, a werewolf; Sui Usami, a rabbit; and Tobari Haneda, a bird.
Why do they want to become human? What do they want to do once they become human? Through them, I learn about “humans.”
This is not an alternate world fantasy, nor is it a story of reincarnation and rebirth. It’s just the story of a teacher at a slightly unusual school, with non-human girls aiming to become human.
