To no surprise to anyone who is watching the absolutely superb Chinese drama Pursuit of Jade, the Zhang Ling He and Tian Xi Wei-led series is now officially one of the biggest hits of 2026 — on both Tencent Video and iQIYI in China, and on international streaming platforms.
That was proven yesterday when both Tencent and iQIYI’s social media announced that the C-drama had officially hit one of the highest levels it is possible to reach on their respective heat indexes.

Meanwhile, Pursuit of Jade exceeded 10,000 on iQIYI, which means it’s a massive hit on that platform, although dramas can go even higher.
