Plot Synopsis
Ye Sibei (played by Mao Xiao Tong) endures, compromises, and avoids her parents’ preference for sons over daughters, which her loving yet frustrated husband, Qin Nan (played by Zhang Bin Bin aka Vin Zhang), can no longer tolerate, leading him to file for divorce.
At this time, Ye Sibei is assaulted and utterly devastated. After learning the truth, Qin Nan steadfastly stays by her side, encouraging her to seek justice through legal means.
With the intervention of the judicial authorities, the perpetrator is imprisoned, and the truth comes to light. Ye Sibei and Qin Nan support each other, resolve their conflicts with their families, and begin a new life.
