
I will preface this by asking why is it that Chinese production companies, when faced with choosing an English title, choose the blandest, most unmemorable possible?
Case in point, the new wuxia romance drama Generation to Generation, which started out life with the much more romantic sounding A Decade of Nightscape Lights, before ending up with that bland title.
But, here we are whether we like it or not, eh? So, I’ll get on with the news story…
Generation to Generation gets character posters for almost every main/supporting actor
Zhou Yi Ran and Bao Shang En’s new wuxia romance Generation to Generation got its official premiere date today, with Tencent Video announcing the Chinese drama would be dropping on February 22nd.
The announcement came with a slew of epic-looking character posters for the main and supporting characters, a confirmation of the drama’s cast, and a message saying:
Mountains are the bones, heroes are the soul. Blades reflect the rain, scars bear witness, quietly awaiting the rising winds of Jianghu.

Generation to Generation cast confirmed
Almost everyone in the main cast list had a character poster drop today. That cast, which was just officially confirmed by Tencent, comprises:

Zhou Yi Ran and Bao Shang En
Also starring:
Yu Jia Cheng, Fan Jing Yi, Bian Tian Yang, Duan Yu, and Yan Yu Chen
Special starring:
Yuan Wen Kang, Li Yuan

Sheng Yi Lun (aka Peter Sheng)

Check out the drama’s official character posters above and below. Like I said, while the C-drama’s English title might be boring AF, the actual story and characters look pretty epic, right?
