3 new posters released for Love on the Turquoise Land as C-drama gets November premiere
With Tencent Video promoting the upcoming Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xing Xu drama Love on the Turquoise Land back in June, and the drama earning over 2 million pre-orders back then (now over 3 million), I honestly expected this one to drop earlier than it has.
But, as it turns out, Love on the Turquoise Land is barely making it into the 2025 drama season, as its premiere date has finally been released for Tencent and WeTV and that is 22nd November, 2025.
But hey, at least you don’t have to wait until next year, right?

Love on the Turquoise Land also got 3 new posters out today, with the two black and white visuals, one featuring Dilraba and one Chen Xing Xu, also getting a comment from Tencent about the Cdrama’s plot:
Through inked lines and drifting mist, a single leap breaks free from the falcon’s cage—shattering the deadlock and breaking through.
Watch as Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xing Xu turn their bond into armor and unravel a thousand-year mystery together.
The third “Worldview” poster (below) features the two actors suspended on cables, as if they are climbing or being pulled up a mountain side.
That poster was published with the message:
A meteorite falls from the sky, bringing calamity to the heroes. A thousand years pass in the blink of an eye. The Golden Gate reopens, and adventurers enter the game to protect the common people.

Surprisingly, as Chinese drama posters go, none of the three released today are particularly interesting or pretty. But you can’t have everything, right?
What’s the plot of Love on the Turquoise Land?
If you’re not much nearer about the plot of the upcoming supernatural thriller, and who would be, it looks something like this:
Inspired by an exhibition themed around the Classic of Mountains and Seas, writer Nie Xi penned a vibrant urban fantasy novel with a distinctly Eastern flavor.
The story follows Nie Jiu Luo (Dilraba Dilmurat), a member of the secretive folk supernatural organization “Nanshan Hunters,” and Yan Tuo (Chen Xing Xu), a sunny and upright man who has endured years of hardship.
Their initial encounter is fraught with conflict, but after several life-or-death collaborations, they gradually develop trust and affection, joining forces to fight against the Earth Owl, protect love and peace, and ultimately become a couple.
For me, nobody in the main or supporting cast (which all seems pretty lackluster) sparks my interest but, if you are a Dilraba or Chen Xing Xu fan, this one may just check all your boxes.
The Chinese drama is scheduled for 32 episodes and arrives on WeTV on Saturday. Have fun! (Update: The Chinese thriller has now exceeded 4 million reservations so, yep, this one will be huge!)
