Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty: To Changan grabs 9,500 on the heat index – no problem at all
To no surprise to any Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty fan who has desperately been waiting for Season 3 of the Chinese historical thriller to drop, during the first day of its streaming alone, Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty: To Changan has already hit 9,500 on the iQIYI heat index.
With 10,000 meaning a Cdrama is a massive hit on that platform (iQIYI calculates their heat index differently than Tencent or YOUKU), it’s pretty obvious to me this one will get there pretty fast too!
As the incredibly popular Chinese drama zoomed up the heat index so fast as well, we also got 4 beautifully designed celebratory visuals starting with as it hit 8,000, then 8,5000, 9,000 and, of course, 9,500. (above and below)
All feature some or all of the fabulous main leads ensemble cast that have made this historical mystery drama such a fun watch right from Season 1.
They are, of course, Yang Xu Wen who plays man-with-a-problem-personality Lu Ling Feng, Yang Zhi Gang who is detective extraordinaire Su Wu Ming, Gao Si Wen as painter Pei Xi Jun, Sun Xue Ning as Ying Tao the talented swordswoman, Chen Chuang who is medical practitioner Fei Ying Jun, and Anson Shi as Yang Xu Wen’s “disciple” Xue Huan.
The visual for the C-drama’s 9,500 heat index achievement also arrived with a message from the streaming platform reminding fans how stubborn our favorite team is when it comes to getting to the truth:
