Lee Na Eun has a role in Crash

On February 22, Korean media outlets were reporting that Lee Na Eun will feature in the upcoming mystery comedy K-drama Crash.

A representative from her agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed the news, revealing that, while the 24-year-old actress is not one of the main leads in the K-drama, she will portray a significant character in a guest role in one of the episodes.

Other reports also suggest Lee Na Eun will be playing the role of a victim in the drama.

Cast and crew of Crash

The upcoming ENA drama Crash boasts a stellar cast that includes Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Ho Chul, and Choi Moon Hee.

Directed by Park Joon Woo, who is known for his work on hit K-dramas like Doctor Detective and Taxi Driver, the 12-episode series promises top-notch entertainment.

Plot overview of Crash

While not much information has yet been released about Crash, Korean news media is reporting the K-drama tells the story of the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (TCI), which tracks only crimes that are connected to the use of vehicles.

Cha Yeon Ho (played by Lee Min Ki), a rational individualist, and Min So Hee (Kwak Sun Young), an ace traffic investigator with cool and sharp judgment skills, work together to track unusual traffic crimes alongside the traffic crime investigation team.

Lee Na Eun’s most recent roles

Prior to accepting a guest role in Crash, the very talented Lee Na Eun has a guest role coming up in the ongoing drama Flex X Cop (in Episodes 9 and 10) starring Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun.

Before that, the actress guested in Twenty-Twenty, and played the main roles in Extraordinary You, Hip Hop King: Nassna Street and in A-Teen.

In 2024, she has already been announced as one of the main leads in the upcoming K-drama iShopping alongside Yeom Jung Ah, Won Jin Ah, DEX and Ahn Ji Ho.

Lee Na Eun, of course, was also supposed to star in Taxi Driver but decided to pull out of the drama after suddenly being accused of being a school bully by an anonymous woman. (only identified as “A”).

After an intensive police investigation, it turned out the woman lied about Lee Na Eun, admitting she had only accused her of being a bully as she was “jealous of her as she was always bright and had many friends compared to my quiet self”.

With Lee Na Eun’s name now cleared, she is free to begin accepting roles in dramas again. Something her fans will be thrilled about.

Crash premiere date

Crash is currently scheduled to premiere on May 6th at 10 PM (KST) on ENA in South Korea.

There has not yet been an announcement as to which international streaming platform will pick it up. We will keep you posted as soon as we find out.
