Millions of fans of the hit Korean drama My Demon (yes, there are that many fans!) are probably wondering what happened to Episode 11 of the drama on Friday night, as it did not air on SBS in South Korea.
Neither did it stream on Netflix or any other streaming service the drama is currently airing on.

Why did My Demon, Episode 11 not air on Friday night?
The latest episode of My Demon did not air on SBS on Friday night, and therefore didn’t stream on Netflix, due to the SBS Drama Awards airing instead.
The Drama Awards are a major event in South Korea, and are held every year to celebrate the work of actors in the drama industry, with the awards airing on SBS for Korean viewers.
The stars of My Demon were nominated for awards in several categories. (You can find out who won in each category here, or you can watch the awards if you like to be surprised)
Song Kang was nominated in the Top Excellence Award, Actor in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama category.
Kim Yoo Jung was nominated in the category Top Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama.
Kim Tae Hoon was nominated in the Excellence Award, Actor in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama category, while Lee Joon Yi was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama category.
Jung Soon Won earned a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama for his performances in both My Demon and Trolley, with Seo Jung Yeon also earning nominations in the Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries Romance/Comedy Drama for both dramas.
Kim Cheol Jin was nominated in the Scene Stealer category, and Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung were nominated in the Best Couple category.
Outside Korea, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards can now be watched with English subtitles via Viki/KOCOWA for those who are Viki Pass Plus subscribers, and you will see most of My Demon‘s actors in it.
When will My Demon, Episode 11 air?
Meanwhile, the next episode of My Demon will air on SBS in its usual time slot, and stream on Netflix for international viewers on Friday, January 5th, 2024.
