The ongoing South Korean drama My Lovely Boxer, Episode 10 has been postponed tonight due to the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
The event that is causing the My Lovely Boxer postponement?
The men’s football match (soccer for Americans) between the South Korean team and Kuwait.
The match is a big deal for the Korean team as they have been the winners of the gold medal for the last two years in the Asiad men’s football.
As no football team has ever won three consecutive gold medals, if Korea can ultimately win the gold medal again, you can only imagine the celebrations among Korean football fans.
The first game of the series for the Korean team is tonight, and much of South Korea will likely be watching. That is one of the reasons why the football team is damned and determined to win it.
As coach Hwang Sun Hong told the news media yesterday:
We absolutely want to win the first match and we must win it,I know people are putting some pressure on our team for playing the very first match for the country. But I understand our position. We want to play well and bring some positive energy to the rest of the. delegation.
Fingers crossed the Korean team will do just that tonight.
Meanwhile, if you are dying to watch My Lovely Boxer, Episode 10, you will be able to do that next week — Monday, September 25th — as that is the date the postponed episode will air.
KBS2 will air the episode in South Korea at its usual time of 21:45 (KST), while Viki will be streaming Episode 10 for international viewers around the same time.
