The South Korean crime drama The Killing Vote, Episode 2 aired last night to slightly lower ratings than its first episode, but is still currently showing solid numbers.
According to Nielsen Korea, The Killing Vote, Episode 2 earned 3.8 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is down 4.1 percent from its first episode.
In Seoul, the drama received 3.9 percent of the audience share, down from the 4.1 percent it garnered for Episode 1.
Only one episode a week for the 12-episode drama
Unfortunately for The Killing Vote, the powers that be at SBS TV decided to air the 12-episode drama with just one episode a week rather than the usual two, meaning the drama will run through October 26th.
With both Korean and international audiences used to two episodes a week of most dramas, that is not likely to help The Killing Vote‘s ratings long-term as some people lose interest and move onto other two-episode-a-week dramas.
The Killing Vote is based on a hit webtoon.
The drama stars Park Hae Jin, Park Sung Woong, and Lim Ji Yeon, and airs on SBS every Thursday at 21:00 (KST).
Outside South Korea, international viewers can watch the Park Hae Jin-led drama via Amazon Prime Video.
