It’s now less than a week until Chinese drama Moonlit Reunion premieres on Tencent Video on August 18th, which is why we are getting a slew of promotional pieces heralding its arrival.
One of the promo pieces dropping earlier today on Tencent’s Weibo account was a new Moonlit Reunion poster, along with the announcement that the fantasy romance drama has already exceeded 3 million reservations.
That extra million pre-orders has been earned since June 21st, when the C-drama’s first 2 million reservations were announced.

To celebrate, we also got a very pretty new Moonlit Reunion poster of the two main leads — Xu Kai, who plays Mei Zhu Yu, and Tian Xi Wei who is Wu Zhen, with the message:

The drama’s plot, while not particularly detailed, looks like this:
“Beneath the Chang’an splendor lies a hidden truth—

Locked in a deadly dance to guard the city’s peace,

Along with the celebratory poster for Moonlit Reunion‘s 3 million reservations (above), you can also enjoy the Chinese drama’s “group portrait poster”, which was also released today (below).
That poster features stars Xu Kai, Tian Xi Wei, Wang Jia Yi, Zhu Zheng Ting, Wu Jun Ting, Yi Da Qian, Fan Shi Ran, Tan Ching Yao (aka Nick Shan), and Lai Wei Ming.
The entire very extensive cast, by the way, is superb.
