2nd Isekai Office Worker trailer has Kondou settling into his new job, but then stupidly putting his life in danger
As a massive BL fan, and someone who has read every volume of the BL manga and light novel series Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, you can only imagine how excited I am that its anime adaptation will be dropping early next month.
I’m even more thrilled today, though, as a second Isekai Office Worker trailer has been released via the BL anime’s social media accounts and, this time we get to see Aresh taking care of Kondou after he stupidly ingests nutritional supplements that are only meant for people with magic skills.

Of course, Kondou wonders why Aresh is being so nice to him (we all know why, eh?!), but it isn’t as though he isn’t enjoying the care.
Heck, he even gets kissed, although the trailer sneakily cuts off that bit right before it happens. Bah.
The latest Isekai Office Worker trailer also shows Kondou getting settled into this job working for the Royal Accounting Department, and taking his job a lot more seriously than has even been done before.
So much so, people high up in the Kingdom are confused about what Kondou is doing, and why.
You will also notice the anime’s 2nd trailer introduces many of the series main characters, and most of them are men. Yep, this one is a very ‘heavy on men’ series and, as a fujoshi, I have gotta say I’m beside myself with joy.
And yes, just like its first trailer, the 2nd Isekai Office Worker trailer suggests we will be getting the same gorgeous art style that is standout in the manga series the anime is based on.
Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter theme songs
Along with the quick look at the parallel world Kondou now finds himself living in, the trailer also introduces snippets of the anime’s theme songs.
They are ‘Magic‘ by Kobore for the OP, and ‘Back to Back‘ by MORISAKI WIN for the anime’s ED.
Both songs are upbeat and fun, although Back to Back is a little more romantic than the more chirpy opening theme song, and quite perfect for the love story of Kondou and Aresh.
The Isekai Office Worker production information
Just in case you missed these details previously, the anime series is based on the hit light novels written by Yatsuki Wakatsu and illustrated by Kikka Ohashi.
Shinji Ishihara (Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation) is directing, with Yoshiko Nakamura (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) in charge of series composition, and Maki Fujii (Sasaki and Miyano) designing all those gorgeous men.
Studio Deen (animators of KonoSuba) are in charge of anime production.
Look out for Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter releasing its first episode on January 6th, 2026 although there is a preview of the BL anime’s first episode dropping on December 15th you may want to look out for.
