16 Tigers Sniff the Rose stills out – Li Yun Rui, Meng Zi Yi, Ken Wu, Shen Jia Yu, Quan Yi Lun and many more

The Chinese political-themed historical romance Tigers Sniff the Rose (aka 尚公主) has released a huge number of stills – 16 to be precise – covering most of the main actors in the C-drama, but as you would expect, especially concentrating on its leads Li Yun Rui and Meng Zi Yi.
Yes, Meng Zi Yi’s face has the same blank expression it always does on most of them, even when she’s about to be kissed by Li Yun Rui, but that’s to be expected from the one-dimensional Chinese actress.
If you can ignore that, though, this one might be interesting.
Especially as it’s directed by Zoe Qin who did an amazing job with both seasons of Lost You Forever and, of course, Lin Yun Rui never disappoints.
Throw in that Blossoms in Adversity and Till the End of the Moon writer He Fang is responsible for the scripts for this and, yep, it could be brilliant.
The rest of the cast includes Ken Wu, Li Xiao Qian, Shen Jia Yu, Quan Yi Lun, Myolie Wu, Tang Xiao Tian, Wu Bi, and Bai Bing Ke.
The stills follow on from the Tigers Sniff the Rose character visuals we got of many of the main cast members back in August.
Anyway, enjoy the new Tigers Sniff the Rose stills, as that cinematography and coloring does look gorgeous, and just cross your fingers that Meng Zi Yi won’t absolutely decimate this one like she did The Princess’s Gambit.
We can only hope, eh?
