The Chinese mystery thriller Light of Dawn has dropped 11 character posters for its main and leading supporting cast as the C-drama itself also got a premiere date — December 27th on Tencent Video.
Yep, Light of Dawn premieres today, with Tencent also confirming the drama’s main and lead supporting cast members.
That cast is:

Special Guest Stars: Yang Le (aka Eric Le Yang), Sa Ri Na, Ren Bin, Feng Lei, Wang Ju (aka Naomi Wang)

Special Appearance by: Tang Yan (aka Tiffany Tang)
Tencent also hinted at the drama’s plot, with this mysterious comment:
An oil painting hides the mysteries of fate; each brushstroke sketches the outline of truth.

What is the Light of Dawn plot?
Directed by Li Lu (A Lifelong Journey), according to Baike Baidu, Light of Dawn‘s plot looks something like this:
Orphan Gao Feng (played by Zhang Ruo Yun) is determined to find his birth parents, while wealthy heiress Wu Fei Fei (Ma Si Chun) navigates various crises within her company. Their lives seem unrelated at first glance.
One day, a car accident uncovers long-buried remains, which appear to be connected to Gao Feng’s mysterious past and also conceal a secret Wu Fei Fei’s family needs to cover up.
As the truth is gradually revealed, Gao Feng and Wu Feifei go from adversarial to allied, as they constantly search for clues.
