Wind Breaker Ren Kaji’s birthday visual has the delinquent a bit grumpy about his cake?

It’s only a couple of months since Wind Breaker‘s Kiryu Mitsuki got a special birthday celebration visual and now it’s the turn of fellow Bofurin member Ren Kaji as his birthday hits today — October 27th.
The new Wind Breaker birthday visual has Ren Kaji holding a cake loaded with what appears to be slices of piled up fruit and cream.
And, even with cream around his mouth, he honestly doesn’t look too happy about it either.
Then again, the Second Year Grade Captain is usually seen with a lollipop in his mouth, so he is probably missing the comfort sweet that, to him, still feels the most satisfying.
Interestingly, Ren Kaji’s birthday celebration visual was created by Akiko Takase, the character designer for Violet Evergarden – who also goes by the name Maru Takase.
