When the Phone Rings Ep 4 earns its highest Saturday rating yet, highest ever in Seoul

Korean drama When the Phone Rings, Episode 4 aired last night to its highest nationwide rating on a Saturday so far, and its highest ever rating in Seoul.
That nationwide rating, which was released via Nielsen Korea, was 5.7 percent — which is a nice increase from its previous Saturday episode (Episode 2) of 4.7 percent. Incidentally, the K-drama’s lowest nationwide rating so far.
Meanwhile, in Seoul, When the Phone Rings, Episode 4 grabbed 6.0 percent of that region’s audience share — its highest rating yet in that area, and a substantial increase from last Saturday’s 4.8 percent.
The MBC drama also continues to earn huge support from the international K-drama fans, with its rating on My Drama List now jumping from an already extremely high (for users of that site) of 8.8 out of 10, to today’s 8.9 out of 10.
The superb chemistry between the two leads — Yoo Yeon Seok, Chae Soo Bin — and the way the tension and intrigue is getting ramped up with every new episode likely had a lot to do with that.
Remember too, When the Phone Rings hit #4 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart last Tuesday for its first two episodes alone.
With updated data due this coming Tuesday, my guess is it will still be on that chart and could even have climbed higher up.
